Mindset by Carol Dweck
Dweck's book discusses the two different types of mindsets that people have: fixed (in which people presume that their abilities cannot be changed) and growth (in which people believe that their abilities can be improved with perseverance and hard work). The book also delves deeply into why constantly praising children for "doing a good job" or being "smart" can be more harmful than helpful and why we need to focus on praising their effort.
